2014 - Year Five - The 2nd year where no work gets done on the railroad.

2014 was an exciting year!   (but not for the garden railroad!)
I finished up my 2-year associates degree at MCC in late May, and started looking for a new job immediately. (I also have a Bachelors degree from college "the first time" back in 1992.) I applied to 30 jobs in about 2 weeks, and got three interviews! (that's a 10% interview rate! which I was very pleased about.) then out of three interviews, I got two job offers! I graduated in May, was offered a job in June, and started that new job on July 1st. I am now a Networking/Computer Technican at a local school district.

So 2014 was a very busy year! but like 2011, "life gets in the way" and no work at all was done on the garden railroad in 2014, but that's understandable. but now, finally, things are finally returning to normal, and 2015 promises to be a productive year for the railroad..meanwhile, a few vignettes from 2014:
